Each monthly allowance is separate. Editing an existing custom checklist uses no additional creation allowance. Re-exporting an already exported inspection uses no additional PDF allowance. Check the app for your remaining usage and platform-specific tools.

Before your first job.
Do I need an account to use Free?
No. Downloading and using Proofio without signing in starts you on Free. Each calendar month includes 3 completed inspections, 3 new or copied checklists, and PDF exports for 3 distinct inspections. Those allowances reset monthly, even without login. Notes, photos, offline editing, and both PDF layouts are included.
How does the 30-day Pro trial work?
Create an eligible new account in the app to start 30 days of Pro, with all Pro features and no credit card required. The trial is for accounts that have not used it before; signing back in or recreating an account with a previously used trial does not start another trial. It does not automatically become a paid subscription. When it ends, you can use Free or separately purchase Pro. Confirming a subscription purchase starts billing at that point.
Can I create new checklists and work completely offline?
Yes. Create, copy and edit custom checklists, fill inspections, capture photo evidence and generate PDFs offline. Free usage allowances still apply. Account sign-in, subscription purchase and initial Pro verification require internet. An already verified Pro entitlement remains available offline subject to its expiry and applicable grace.
What changes when I edit a checklist?
Built-in forms must be copied before editing. When you start an inspection, Proofio saves a snapshot of its form; later checklist edits apply to future inspections. You can add extra observations during a job, but you cannot freely restructure that inspection's active form.
Can I include photos without buying Pro?
Yes. Photo evidence and Advanced PDFs are available on both plans. Pro adds photo annotation and custom company branding. Free PDFs always include the Proofio footer; Pro lets you turn it off.
Does Pro include online sharing, backup or a team workspace?
Share exported PDFs using your device's sharing options, such as email; online sending needs internet. Pro does not currently include cloud backup, a hosted report portal, team seats or a shared web dashboard. No release date or team pricing is announced. Keep separate copies of important photos and reports.
